Sowerby World Cup - Argentina Win!
Year 5 and 6 have been playing in a three week world football match with 8 teams participating! Today it was the semi-final and final. Argentina and Belgium made it to the semi final as too did Netherlands and Spain. The final was Spain v Argentina with Argentina taking a 3 -1 victory.
Well done to all the children for taking part and showing excellent sportsmanship. Mr. Rowley organised the event and awarded the winning team medals in assembly.
