Salary:                                     Main Pay Scale points 1- 4

Actual salary                          £31,650 pa - £38,034 pa

Contract Type:                       Temporary for 1 Year

Hours of work:                        1 FTE

Start Date:                               1st September 2025

End Date:                                 31st August 2026

Sowerby Primary Academy is part of Elevate Multi Academy Trust.  We are seeking to recruit an experienced Class Teacher to join our Y3/4 cohort for one year.  This post is a temporary position in our team.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • experienced with KS2 expectations
  • passionate about education and inspiring children
  • talented primary practitioners with high expectations and standards, who will be committed to our ‘growing courageous learners’ approaches
  • able to demonstrate outstanding teaching skills within the primary age range
  • able to inspire and embody the ethos and values of the school
  • committed to working as part of the whole school team, leading by example and making the most of each day
